Wishing you Warmth & Wonder from the hills…

Snowy wonder
Stunning… is the only way we can sum up what it was like sledging down Merlins Hill here at Garn Farm a couple of weeks back!

We hope you’ve enjoyed the Christmas celebrations… and as you recover and the New Year gets underway we invite you to plan a stay in the hills in the year ahead!

It probably won’t snow again, but we believe there is wonder to be found here all year round (and with plenty of firewood the warmth of a fire indoors or outside is never far away).

Whether it’s for a family break or to get away by yourself, with a loved one or as a group, our website and booking system is open and ready to take bookings 24hrs a day.

Check availability and book a stay.

With our best wishes for 2018
Matt & Polly

“I was so looking forward to our weekend break and it did not disappoint. Matt and Polly have worked hard to create a lovely haven in a beautiful setting, and then been kind enough to share it with others! Though there’s plenty to occupy in the locality, we were just delighted to take walks on the farm, help feed the pigs, watch the DVDs, play games and cook some absolutely delicious cookies which they left ingredients for. When we needed things we’d forgotten to bring, Matt and Polly were there to help, but we also had space to unwind.”

Rachel and family – September 2017

“Such a spacious, welcoming and well appointed place for rest and relaxation, in its delightful immediate hillside environment with views of the Black Mountains and amazing sunset, and Garn Farm and the family next door. Sociable pigs and contented sheep. Plenty of scope for walking. (It only rained as we were leaving!)”

George from Warwickshire – July 2017

“I had a fantastic almost-week at Garn Farm. The barn is comfortable, well- equipped and life there is extremely relaxing. I travelled solo, without a car, as part of a retreat from city life and it was perfect. You can curl up in front of the wood-burner, relax on the terrace above the barn with a glass of wine; even washing up while watching the goldfinches and wagtails potter about the garden is a pleasure. The weather was less reliable, but it didn’t stop me making the most of the stunning setting, the valley is a hidden gem with lots of opportunities for walking. Matt and Polly were very helpful and friendly and have put so much thought in to the property. I only wish I could have stayed longer.”

Claire from London – May 2017
