I was so looking forward to our weekend break and it did not disappoint. Matt and Polly have worked hard to create a lovely haven in a beautiful setting, and then been kind enough to share it with others! Though there’s plenty to occupy in the locality, we were just delighted to take walks on…

We really enjoyed our stay at Warmth and Wonder. The accommodation was lovely. The view was stunning, across the Herefordshire countryside. We enjoyed a wood burning fire in the evenings. Polly and Matt made us feel very welcome and comfortable. A lovely place to unwind and relax.

Stayed here while mountain biking the black mountains. Brilliant views and an awesome barn with everything you’ll need including games, bbq, hammock and a lovely deck. We will definitely be going back.

We had a fabulous time at the barn – it was beautiful and we didn’t want to leave. We could have looked at the views all year long. The kids loved the hens and the pigs and playing with the wooden farm. Thank you!

Such a spacious, welcoming and well appointed place for rest and relaxation, in its delightful immediate hillside environment with views of the Black Mountains and amazing sunset, and Garn Farm and the family next door. Sociable pigs and contented sheep. Plenty of scope for walking. (It only rained as we were leaving!)

Great hideaway, well presented and well thought-out -including the travel directions and handy booklets. Lovely warm welcome from Matt and Polly on arrival and nice little touches [like the amazing loaf of homemade bread]. Amazing to wake up to view of mountains in such a peaceful place, and easy to get about to Hay, Abergavenny,…

The Barn at Garn Farm was a wonderful place for a family holiday! The location is just stunning. We had a lovely time listening to the dawn chorus of birds – such peace and quiet – feeding the gorgeous 10 week old pigs, laughing at the chicken who came to visit us in the house…

Absolutely loved our weekend stay at Warmth & Wonder! The views are breathtaking! The barn was perfect – loved the little extra details – emergency cookies and fresh bread on arrival – bliss! What a find!

I had a fantastic almost-week at Garn Farm. The barn is comfortable, well- equipped and life there is extremely relaxing. I travelled solo, without a car, as part of a retreat from city life and it was perfect. You can curl up in front of the wood-burner, relax on the terrace above the barn with…

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. The barn was really well set up especially for a family like ours. The children loved playing there – they especially liked the games and DVDs as well as the hammock and space to play. We really found it relaxing and slept soundly, too.
