The barn is comfortable and warm and the setting is beautiful and so peaceful. Good walks from the house with great views and good access to the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons.

I really enjoyed staying at Warmth & Wonder and would highly recommend it. It's a lovely quiet setting with great views from the veranda. The spacious open plan living and kitchen area are perfect for chatting and for not isolating the chef! Matt & Polly were very welcoming but did not intrude on our holiday at all. It's a very convenient setting for day trips and the local shop/post office, Hopes of Longtown, was very well stocked and welcoming. I would certainly visit again. Thank you.

We could only book 3 nights as booked at last minute. We loved it.The views were wonderful from the decking where we had coffee and lunch when sun shone on the Saturday. The barn itself was very comfortable, huge bed, good, powerful shower over bath. Lovely touches throughout which kept it quirky but this can mean basic, but this did not apply at all here. Biking was good, if hard work coming back up the hill and walk from Longtown to Offa’s Dyke good round walk with helpful walking guides in the barn. Pub at Clodock where time had stood still but gave a good welcome and good pint. Shop in Longtown absolutely amazing. Enjoyed the home made bread, and wonderful wandering through the orchard and chatting to the chickens! Thank you, great time. We will return for longer stay.

We had an amazing family holiday. As parents of two young children we could not have been more comfortable in the barn. Extremely well set up for kids. The location is truly beautiful and our hosts were kind and welcoming. We could not recommend staying here enough!

Warmth and wonder is a perfect name for the beautiful space Matt and Polly have created on their amazing land. Their attention to detail gives such a warm welcome you instantly feel at home. The wonders that are at an arms reach from the door of the Barn are captivating, you don't have to go far to be emerged in nature and wildlife. Relaxed and recharged is how we reluctantly left. We definately recommend a stay at The Barn.

Just returned from a lovely weekend, away from it all, at The Barn at Warmth & Wonder. This was a random choice, booked merely as a midway meeting point with family, for some 'catch up and chill time' and did not disappoint. It is in a beautiful setting... There are plenty of games, books and DVDs for all ages, if required, to while away the time, as well as some very good info on walks in and around the surrounding area plus places to visit. A weekend really was not long enough!

We enjoyed our long weekend at Garn Barn very much. The Barn is beatiful, as is the land all around. It was the perfect place to visit with our kids, excellent toys inside and lots to play with and explore outside! We received a really warm welcome from Matt & Polly and family and will definitely return!

This is a gorgeous place to stay. We had a very snug January weekend, walking in the misty landscape and warming by the log fire. Incredibly relaxing.

Wonderful stay, so relaxing, we are already planning to return. Great base for amazing black mountain walks but always so lovely returning to the comfort of the barn and it’s lovely setting. We loved walking up through the woods via the rope swing to fabulous mountain views, drinking morning coffee outside with Hatterrall Ridge in front of us and always having such a cosy base to return to. The rustic style is perfect and the homemade sourdough on arrival delicious. Thank you!

Great cottage - perfect for our family of 5. It can often be tricky with 3 children to make sure everyone is comfy but we really loved Warmth and Wonder. Homemade bread is yummy and lots of firewood for really lovely wood burner. Beautiful setting, convenient location and very friendly hosts. We'll be back for sure.

I was so looking forward to our weekend break and it did not disappoint. Matt and Polly have worked hard to create a lovely haven in a beautiful setting, and then been kind enough to share it with others!Though there's plenty to occupy in the locality, we were just delighted to take walks on the farm, help feed the pigs, watch the DVDs, play games and cook some absolutely delicious cookies which they left ingredients for. When we needed things we'd forgotten to bring, Matt and Polly were there to help, but we also had space to unwind.Thank you also for sharing your time with us chatting about running a smallholding.R & D and children aged 8, 10 and 12.
