Great hideaway, well presented and well thought-out -including the travel directions and handy booklets. Lovely warm welcome from Matt and Polly on arrival and nice little touches [like the amazing loaf of homemade bread]. Amazing to wake up to view of mountains in such a peaceful place, and easy to get about to Hay, Abergavenny, Hereford, Brecon [and local walking country]. Definitely recommend the place and the hosts.

A wonderful group weekend in a beautiful setting, where we were made to feel so welcome. There barn was perfect and the food was exquisite, Polly. Thank you all so much.

The Barn at Garn Farm was a wonderful place for a family holiday! The location is just stunning. We had a lovely time listening to the dawn chorus of birds – such peace and quiet – feeding the gorgeous 10 week old pigs, laughing at the chicken who came to visit us in the house one morning. The views across the valley are breathtaking and are perfect viewed from one of the hammocks in secluded glades around the site. The fire pit and space outside for eating was great for us and our friends who came to camp outside the barn with us. There are lovely walks nearby, and Sugar Loaf was a stunning climb. The local pub was welcoming and served great local cider and we managed to buy everything we needed at the village pub. And the barn itself is beautiful, light and airy – we loved the enormous super king-sized bed and well stocked kitchen. We would definitely like to come back!

Absolutely loved our weekend stay at Warmth & Wonder! The views are breathtaking! The barn was perfect – loved the little extra details – emergency cookies and fresh bread on arrival – bliss! What a find!

I had a fantastic almost-week at Garn Farm. The barn is comfortable, well- equipped and life there is extremely relaxing. I travelled solo, without a car, as part of a retreat from city life and it was perfect. You can curl up in front of the wood-burner, relax on the terrace above the barn with a glass of wine; even washing up while watching the goldfinches and wagtails potter about the garden is a pleasure. The weather was less reliable, but it didn’t stop me making the most of the stunning setting, the valley is a hidden gem with lots of opportunities for walking. Matt and Polly were very helpful and friendly and have put so much thought in to the property. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. The barn was really well set up especially for a family like ours. The children loved playing there – they especially liked the games and DVDs as well as the hammock and space to play. We really found it relaxing and slept soundly, too.
