This User Agreement and Terms (the "Agreement") governs your use of the sauna, cold water plunge pool, and cold shower facilities (collectively, the "Facilities") provided by Warmth & Wonder at Garn Farm ("the Owner”).
By using these Facilities, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with sauna and cold water immersion activities, and confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by this Agreement (A) and the accompanying Guidelines (B), both personally and on the behalf of all members of your party. You do so entirely at your own risk. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Facilities.
A. Core Terms & Liability
1. Acceptance and Responsibility You accept responsibility for ensuring that every member of your party reads and understands this Agreement and the Guidelines before using the Facilities.
2. Assumption of Risk You understand that sauna use and cold water immersion carry inherent risks, including dehydration, heat exhaustion, cold shock, and drowning. You accept full responsibility for any injury, illness, damage, or harm resulting from these activities.
3. Health and Medical Disclaimer You confirm you do not have any pre-existing medical conditions that may be aggravated by sauna use or cold water immersion. DO NOT USE these Facilities if you are prone to dizziness or fainting, or if you are taking blood thinning medications.
If you have any of the following conditions, you MUST seek medical advice from your doctor before using the facilities: pregnancy, cardiovascular disorders, high/low blood pressure issues, nervous system disorders, heart conditions, diabetes, epilepsy, asthma, allergies, or any other relevant medical conditions.
4. Alcohol and Drugs You confirm that you must NOT use the facilities under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that impairs judgment or physical ability.
5. Age Restrictions You confirm that the minimum age for use of the sauna facilities is 18 years old.
6. Waiver of Liability and Indemnification You understand and accept that participation is at your own risk. While the Owner takes reasonable measures to ensure safety, the facility and its staff are not liable for any injury, illness, damage, or loss resulting from your use of the Facilities. You agree to indemnify the Owner against any claims arising from your negligence or breach of these terms.
7. Damage to Property and Belongings You are responsible for any damage caused to the Facilities or equipment by your negligent or reckless actions. You agree to reimburse the Owner for any such damage. You are responsible for your own valuables; the Owner is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings.
8. Booking, Payment, and Confirmation All sauna bookings are subject to availability and acceptance by the Owner. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. Your booking confirmation for the sauna constitutes your acceptance of this entire Agreement.
9. Cancellations and Refunds Cancellation and refund policies for the sauna session are those stated on your booking confirmation at the time of purchase. In the event of facility closure by the Owner due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, equipment failure), the Owner will offer a full refund for the sauna booking fee only, or offer to reschedule the session. No compensation will be given for consequential losses.
10. Right to Refuse Service and Ejection The Owner reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any user or group from the Facilities immediately, without refund, if they are observed violating this Agreement, the Guidelines (B), or if their conduct poses a risk to themselves, others, or the Facilities. Users who are ejected remain liable for any damage caused (Section A.7).
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

B1. General Safety & Preparation
- What to Bring: For your comfort and safety, bring swimwear, towels (including one to sit on), a robe (optional), suitable slip-on footwear (crocs, flip-flops etc) and a water bottle.
- Hydration: Drink plenty of water before, during, and after your session. Bring a water bottle with you (a water tap is available nearby for refills).
- Jewellery & Glasses: Participants are strongly advised to remove all jewellery and watches before entering the sauna to prevent burns, and to remove glasses or contact lenses to avoid damage.
- Hygiene & Dress Code: Nudity is NOT permitted. For hygiene please shower before first entering the sauna. Do not use any hair masks, soaps, oils, or fake tanning products beforehand. Long hair should be worn tied-up.
- Listen to Your Body: If you feel dizzy, light-headed, nauseous, or unwell at any time, exit the sauna or plunge immediately.
- Valuables: Keep your valuables secure, as the facility is not liable for loss or damage.
B2. Sauna Use Guidelines
- Entry/Exit: Towel dry each time before entering the sauna to minimise excess water on the floor. The door opens outwards. Enter slowly and carefully.
- Session Limits: Limit each session in the sauna to 5-15 minutes—and take breaks as needed.
- Supervision: The sauna is not supervised throughout the session. You must keep an eye on your fellow sauna-goers to ensure everyone’s safety.
- Stove Safety (CRITICAL):
- DO NOT touch or adjust the stove, surround, flue pipe, or hot rocks—they are extremely hot and will cause severe burns.
- Ensure the stove door is fully closed (lifts up and out, then handle lifts slightly up and drops down when fully closed).
- Adding Water to Rocks: Only use the provided ladle and water to gently pour small amounts of water onto the hot rocks to create steam. DO NOT pour too much water at once, as it can damage the stove and cause excessive steam and burns.
B3. Cold Water Guidelines (Plunge Pool & Shower)
- Cold Shock Risk: Cold water immersion carries risks such as shock, loss of coordination, or unconsciousness. Do not use the cold water plunge alone.
- Shower: For hygiene use the cold shower briefly each time before using the plunge pool.
- Plunge Entry/Exit: Take extra care when entering and exiting the cold water plunge, using the ladder and handrails carefully. If you have mobility restrictions, do not use the plunge (the cold shower is provided as an alternative).
- Session Limits: Limit your time in the cold water to short durations, especially if you are new, and gradually build up.
- Transition: Towel dry before going back into the sauna.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe environment.
