Wild sauna: Restore, Reconnect, and Retreat

Book | ReviewsTermsFAQsLocation

Enjoy a restorative experience of heat, cold, and nature. Nestled in the hillside at Garn Farm with panoramic views of the Black Mountains, our sauna is a space for peace and restoration.

The wild sauna is all about taking time out from life’s distractions and immersing yourself in nature, awakening the senses and embracing the elements.

The gentle, deep heat of the Finnish style woodfired sauna provides a truly immersive and traditional experience, perfect for deep relaxation and detoxification.

The sauna cabin on wheels is a beautiful, handcrafted structure with windows to make the most of the stunning views from the inside, and with a short boardwalk to the spring fed cold water plunge and shower surrounded by trees and the views.

Made locally the sauna was built from sustainably managed timber of Douglas Fir, Cedar and Pine - all from within 30 miles of us.

The Healing Cycle: Heat, Cold, and Nature Immersion - the sauna encourages deep relaxation and detoxification, while the bracing cold water plunge powerfully invigorates the body, boosts mood, and sharpens mental clarity.  Complete your session by embracing the quiet solitude of the farm: enjoy a short, reflective walk through our woodland and fields to immerse in nature and fully anchor your sense of wellbeing.

The minimum age for use of the facilities is 18 years. The sauna accommodates up to 4 people.

Had such a lovely experience at Warmth and Wonder. Have had minimal experience with saunas, but the scenery was stunning, the wildflowers were beautiful and Matt was really warm and welcoming (no pun intended). Even enjoyed trying the spring-fed plunge pool! Great experience – would highly recommend.

My sister and I booked the sauna and spring water plunge. The view was absolutely stunning and the experience was utterly magical. Special memories made with my sister. So peaceful and relaxing would highly recommend, and Matt the host was super friendly and inviting.

What an absolute gem! My sister came across Warmth and Wonder as we were looking for a spa and dip. Matt, the host, was very welcoming and has created such a delightful space to relax, recharge and unwind. A truly special experience - thank you!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Such a fantastic location - surrounded entirely by nature, wildflowers and mountain views. Everything worked seamlessly from start to finish. The sauna felt brand new and stayed wonderfully hot throughout without any input from us. Matt's instructions beforehand were very clear and helpful, and his explanation on arrival was equally welcoming and informative.

The shower was excellent, and the plunge pool was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly positioned to make the most of the scenery. The large picture window in the sauna greatly enhances the experience, allowing you to relax while taking in the stunning views. There was so much attention to detail throughout. The changing facilities were excellent, there was even the option to make a cup of tea and sit quietly on the bench to further enjoy the scenery.

We were there for an hour and a half, but it passed incredibly quickly. We both left feeling extremely relaxed, with a deep physical and restorative sense of calm that remained long after the sauna.

I would highly recommend this experience and fully intend to treat myself to more sessions in the future.
