The Golden Valley Pilgrim Way: Your Midpoint Sanctuary
Whether you are seeking a meaningful day walk or looking for the perfect place to rest while trekking the full Golden Valley Pilgrim Way, Warmth & Wonder offers a unique space for reflection and recovery. Stay in our stunning self-catering Barn or Bell Tent, or just access our Wild Sauna and perhaps a Breathwork session on your journey past...
The Ultimate "Pilgrim’s Rest"
For those undertaking the full 82-mile circular journey from Hereford Cathedral, we are perfectly positioned for a mid-route recovery. We believe a pilgrimage is best experienced at a "pilgrim’s pace"—slowly and intentionally—which is why we offer two ways to rest:
-
The Barn (Minimum 2–3 Night Stay): Designed for those who want a true rest during their journey. Spend a few days off the trail to wash your clothes, cook a hearty meal, and allow your body to recuperate before the final leg back to Hereford. Check availability
-
The Bell Tent: For pilgrims seeking a closer connection to the elements, our Bell Tent offers a simpler stay under the stars, with access to our camp kitchen, toilet and shower (seasonal availability). Enquire about Bell Tent
Rejuvenate in the Wild Sauna and/or with a Breathwork session
You don’t have to be an overnight guest to experience the healing power of Warmth & Wonder. Our Wild Sauna is available for private bookings, perfectly timed to coincide with your walk past our doorstep - and you can book a Breathwork session with Matt.
Perched on the hillside with panoramic views of the Black Mountains, the sauna is the ultimate antidote to "pilgrim fatigue."
-
Deep Heat: Soothe aching muscles and joints with wood-fired steam.
-
Cold Recovery: Invigorate your senses with our spring-fed cold plunge.
-
A Moment of Stillness: A 90-minute session provides a powerful meditative break before you continue your journey through the valley.
Advanced booking for both the sauna and breathwork is essential for those passing through. Get in touch
