Guest Info

We are looking forward to welcoming you to The Barn at Warmth and Wonder soon. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we are taking extra steps to provide a clean and safe environment for our guests and so are sharing some new extra information with you.

You should have already have received an email from our booking system with our arrival pack – which importantly includes directions to find us.

We are also sharing the extra information below with specific details about updated Covid-19 related arrival times and instructions.

NHS Test & Trace

You need to provide contact details for all guests to help with NHS Test and Trace requirements. You can do that before you arrive via the link in the Arrival Info email or use the QR code when you arrive.

Guest Information

Our guest information is stored in a wipeable folder with wipeable pages, but where possible we ask that you to use the electronic versions below

Whilst you are here in addition to our normal guidelines we ask guests to maintain the cleanliness of the property during your stay, and to adhere to social distancing whilst here and in the local area.

Arrivals and Departures
We are changing our arrival and departure times for guests to enable us to ensure The Barn is cleaned to our very high standard. We therefore kindly ask you to not arrive before 4pm, and to ensure that you depart by 10am (please note this is different to our usual times so may be different to what you read elsewhere).
The Barn will have adequate supply of cleaning materials, hand wash and sanitiser, cloths and disposable gloves for guests use.

On checking out in addition to our normal process detailed in the guest information we ask at a minimum that you please ensure:

  • surfaces and handles are wiped
  • all used crockery and cooking utensils have been put through the dishwasher
  • bedding is stripped and, along with used towels, are placed in the blue laundry bag provided
  • rubbish is bagged and placed in the appropriate wheelie bin at the bottom of the drive

Covid-19 Travel

Finally, please do not travel if any of your party are showing symptoms of Covid-19, instead you must self-isolate according to current government guidance. If any of your group develop any symptoms of Covid-19 during your stay you must inform us immediately. You will then be asked to make arrangements for the whole group to depart in order to self isolate at home in accordance with the latest government guidance. You are advised to have travel insurance in place to protect your booking if this was to be the case, or if you were unable to make the trip due to being in isolation when the trip is due to take place.
