Coronavirus Update

As we all start to prepare to be able to travel again, we want to share a number of measures we are making to ensure you can book easily with us safe in the knowledge that you will be staying in a clean and peaceful haven, and that your booking process is straight forward.

Clean and safe

It’s important that we all review our expectations around safety and cleanliness in response to Coronavirus, and the safety and well-being of our guests and our family is incredibly important to us, now more than ever.

The Barn at Warmth and Wonder as usual will be spotlessly clean for your arrival, and in addition to our usual cleaning regime we have signed up to the Sawday’s ‘Clean and Safe’ charter. This means we will be following government cleaning advice for non-healthcare environments. For example, high touch, hard surfaces will be cleaned twice and disinfected and all linen will be washed at 60°C before a guest’s arrival.

You will be able to self-check in on arrival, and check-in and check-out times will be changed slightly to allow increased time for cleaning between stays.

With so much outdoor space social distancing is something we are used to here and we know that is why you’ll be wanting to come and stay! We will, of course, be adhering to social distancing rules during your stay and at all times guests will be asked to follow government guidelines.

Straight forward booking

Should government advice mean we are not able to welcome guests we will offer you the chance to postpone your booking to new dates or cancel and refund your booking in full.

If government advice for your area means you are no longer able to travel (but we can open) we will do our very best to rebook the dates and postpone your booking to new dates. Our normal terms and conditions apply.

As for any booking you are advised to have travel insurance in place to protect your booking if you are unable to travel due to ill health or if you were unable to make the trip due to being in isolation when the trip is due to take place.

We will be happy to respond to any questions regarding this and will always be ready to apply fair terms.

On travel

At the time of travel if any of your party are showing symptoms of Covid-19 you should not travel, instead you must self-isolate according to current government guidance. If any of your group develop any symptoms of Covid-19 during your stay you must inform us immediately. You will then be asked to make arrangements for the whole group to depart in order to self isolate at home in accordance with the latest government guidance. You are advised to have travel insurance in place to protect your booking if this was to be the case, or if you were unable to make the trip due to being in isolation when the trip is due to take place.
